The Story

The Last Amazon is a fresh perspective on Post-Apocalyptic storytelling which chronicles the disparate groups and leaders that have risen after World War III.

The year is 2050. In the wake of a worldwide nuclear holocaust, only two cities remain on our war-torn planet: The Denver Denizens and Hawaii’s Azureus Islands. Locked in a post-apocalyptic cold war, these two superpowers vie for control over earth’s few remaining habitable zones. Amid this global struggle, a desperate scientist risks everything to tip the balance of power by awakening a sentient technology which has the ability to either heal our broken world or plunge all organic life into eternal darkness.

This book was produced by Apotheosis Studios and created by Creative Director, Jamison Stone and Illustrator / Senior Concept Artist, David Granjo. Merging David’s visionary and hyper-realistic art style with Jamison’s superbly crafted writing, as seen in Sci-Fi/Fantasy epic Rune of The Apprentice, The Last Amazon is a fresh take on storytelling in the graphic novel and superhero genre, introducing Danni Winter’s saga through a unique and unexpected point of view.
