CNN article states "E-book sales top paperbacks for first time"

An article by CNN (found here) states that "E-book sales totaled $90.3 million in February, up 202% compared to the same month a year earlier, according to a study from the Association of American Publishers. That put e-books at No. 1 "among all categories of trade publishing" that month -- the first time e-books have beaten out traditional publishing formats."

This data will undoubtedly effect the publishing world. It will be interesting to see how this effects how Apotheosis will choose to publish our first book. Right now Kickstarter will be our first major thrust, and those that want the Collector's First Editions Hardcover (like myself) will be able to get them, along with a PDF file and other e-reader options. Stay tuned for more on the Kickstarter campaign to come!

This article makes me think of a great quote I head a while back, I don't remember the author, but I agree adamantly.  The quote is thus: "The great America novels of the 22nd Century will be Video Games." Apotheosis Studios strives for such an aim! Stay tuned!

(And a big thanks to Nate S. for sharing this article with us!)
